“The artwork is a young person in a dark place protected by a tiger companion, reaching for a light as it floats toward them. I was thinking about what Ashrita wrote about protection, grief, and family in their posts about the album, as well as "you may find the god within you/ the piece that she gave you/ your own reflection of celestial energy" that they included in a post about the album release. I was thinking of music and songwriting for Ashrita as an inextinguishable lamp that once lit has gotten brighter with the ability to practice, freedom to express themself, and the sense of security that brings. Grief finds us in a dark place where this light and protection become more important and valuable. I wanted to incorporate themes from Hinduism as I know this is so important to the album, but don't want to miss the mark so please let me know any changes. I included a swan and a flowing river to indicate the presence of Saraswati in delivering this light of songwriting and music/ "the god within you, the piece she gave you." -Jamie
